A nineteen-year-old currently living in Lowestoft, looking to break through into the world of publishing and writing. I have been writing ever since I was a small child in primary school, and have since had two published pieces – a short story and a poem, and had a second short story shortlisted for a university writing anthology.
What first hooked me on books was reading J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings as a young boy, and following up by reading many more of his books, including The Hobbit and The Silmarillion. Since then I have wanted to write my own fictional stories, specifically within the fantasy and young-adult genres.
I am interested in nearly all forms of writing, holding a particular interest for novels and stories. Aside from reading and reviewing books, I also work on my own novels.
As for a career in writing, other than becoming a novelist, I aim to work for a publishing house as a commissioning editor.
In the academic year of twenty-fifteen to twenty-sixteen, I studied Creative Writing at the University of Roehampton.

Hey Josh! I completely and totally share your feelings for J.R.R. Tolkien and his Lord of The Rings Trilogy! He’s my inspiration and the movies – I think I’ve watched them so many more times than a normal person should watch a movie.
Anywho, I’ve tagged you to do the I Am More Happy Than Not Tag! I would love to see your answers for this!

Thank youuu, I will get on that ASAP. Though I’m not actually 100% sure how this works?…
